San Francisco artist Katie Gilmartin knows a thing or two about the city — like how badass the girls who hang out at 500 Club can be or how fucking ugly that giant cell phone tower is. She’s recreated some of San Francisco’s most iconic attributes into a series of pulp covers that bring out the frisky, alternative side of the city by the bay.
